A bit about me...
I am really just an easy-going girl who loves spending time with my family and friends. In 2009, I graduated from Michigan State University with my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I completed my year long internship in a first grade classroom and truly found my passion for teaching during this experience. Since then, I have had the opportunity to teach 2nd grade for a year in South Bend, Indiana. For the past three years, I have been teaching 4th graders in the small town of Berrien Springs, Michigan. I absolutely love my job and the people that I work with!
Besides teaching, I enjoy being married to my husband, who is also in the teaching profession, and a "mom" to our 3 year old energetic black lab, Jetta. I also love to relax under some blankets and read a good book. In the summer, however, you will probably find me outside doing something. I enjoy spending time at the beach, working in my garden, camping, fishing, and biking.
